Hey all I need a little help. I got my chip up and running fine, I have unleash x running off of c: everything seems fine. Except for the life of me I can not get the ms dash to run. I know I’m probably missing something simple. I do not need the ms dash for live, I just want it running. If some one could point me to a tut or explain the way the file structure should look that would be great. I have my original ms files backed up if that helps. Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks

the M$ dash should be xboxdash.xbe on C:

If you installed the chip normally, booting with the eject button should boot to the retail kernel (and the M$ dash).

If you deleted it by accident you can reinstall it either from an auto installer disc or download it from the usual place

if you hooked up the bt behind the eject button and u have the do point on the mobo hooked up to the do point on the chip when u power on with the eject button u should load from the tsop not the chip which would get u the ms dash unless u flashed your tsop with different bios and it would load them . but if u didnt hook the bt to the eject button and hooked it on to the chip it will boot the chip no matter what or if u hooked up the do on the chip to ground and not the do point on the mobo it will always also boot the chip. try hooking it up this way if you have not. and if you want to get the factory dash to be on your apps on your hdd ftp from another modded xbox put it in your apps and you can run it when ever u want thats what i did

Hey, I have the ms dash up and running now. I ended up using a buddies backed up ms dash. For some reason the back up from my xbox or slayers would not work. I have no clue as to why this back up worked and not any others. Thanks for all the help.
