Duox 2 1.6 Solderless Adapter
« on: July 14, 2006, 05:27:00 AM »

You can modify the generic 1.6 solderless adapter to work with Duox2.  But there is no one ready made that will work with a Duox2.
Besides, solderless is crap and you shouldn't use it if you can help it.

take your time and use a little flux and it is not that hard.  Just use 30g wire and it is not bad.  If you really can't do it, if you want to cover shipping to me and back I will mod it for free and let you want on webcam while I try and teach you.

If you really do want to use a 1.6 solderless adapter with the duox2 though, just solder a jumper wire from d0 to pin 4 and from BT to pin 9 (You don't really need to solder BT to pin 9 if it's a duox2 GS, but I'd still reccommend it).

Make sure the solderless adapter has a 5v pin. (all 1.6 adapters with the exception of the non-universal xenium s.p. adapter do).
