Maybe he read it as well. Maybe he can solder no problem but anyone who quotes he can launch evox from flashbios then back peddles is not quite right.
Why not just tell him to send your chip back to to you and send him another chip. You don't seem to be any nearer getting the box back modded.
Its a pity you are not close to where I reside as I would have fitted the chip for you whilst you watched and let you have a go with the soldering etc. (For Free of Course)
