CALLING ALL MOD EXPERTS, PLEASE HELP ME... I'm new!

Im Running:
Xbox 1.6b with a DuoX 2 GS
BT--> Pin 9
d0 from motherboard --> d0 pad on Chip
M8plus_16 512K BIOS
Slayers 2.6


This is a new install, I have two issues...

1) Everything boots up ok but when I try to play a game from either the original DVD or from the HDD it goes to the Green Xbox Logo and freezes before reaching the main menu of the game, the LED does not change color.

2) Sometimes it will turn its self on and eject the DVD tray or if the unit is on it will eject for no reason. When this occurs it dose not respond to either the eject button or the power button. When this isn’t happening the power/eject buttons work normally.

I have yet to get this working properly but this forum has brought me closer and closer.
Any and all help is appreciated!
