The install on chancer's site you are following is for a 1.0-1.5.  If you followed his 1.6 you would see that ALL 1.6's need an LPC rebuild.  And the diagram for the rebuild that you posted is correct.
  Just install the pinheader in the lpc like all installs, then solder the wires to match the diagram, solder your BT wire, connect it all to your chip and you are done.  A 1.6 install only takes about 10-15 min. more than a regular one.  SO it is not that bad.
