**EDIT** Disregard, somehow firefox corrupted the image.. I never thought of trying it in IEXPLORER. Damn I feel dumb.
I purchased a Preflashed duox2 from console.com because of some mod's recommendation i found while lurking on the forums. So it arrives. I dissassemble my xbox, and determine it to be a 1.6...lucky me.
Apparently, console.com has an "LPC rebuild" board that comes with the chip to prevent you from needing to connect wires to rebuild the lpc ports. A picture of it can be seen here:
http://www.console.c...cb_recovery.jpgThe directions that console.com gives for the 1.6 are corrupt! Only 80% of the image will load, and I don't want to continue the installation without knowing the complete directions at the risk of frying my box.
http://www.console.c...nstallation.jpgI've found directions that look identical to the one's offered by console.com (it appears they just photoshopped in their lpc recovery board OVER the wires that were shown rebuilding the lpc port in the other directions from xbox-modchips here: Note: you must manually copy and paste this link for it to work.
http://www.xbox-modc..._white_v1.6.jpgBut im afraid to solder console.com's lpc recovery board to my motherboard without seeing the rest of console.com's directions. Can anyone provide me with any insight? I contacted the company Friday morning and have received no response as of yet. I also got the official directions from team omega's site but again, they all show wires recovering the lpc ports - I guess console.com has the lpc recovery board manufactured privately.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
