Installed Duox2, But Original Dashboard Always Boots

I installed the Duox2 modchip, but it seems like my Xbox is functioning as if it has not been modded at all. No error codes, no FRAG, etc. Boots up fine. With both methods of turning on the Xbox, I still see the original green Xbox dash. Could this caused by a bad solder?

check your soldering. Particularly the D0 point.

The mod could be on..... but if you have not installed any other dashboard, then how can you expect your box to boot something else????  You need to install another dashboard by using slayers or AID if you want it to boot something other than the MS dash..... which is the only one you have on there right now

If you installed a Whie Cromwell Duox2 then there is something wrong in the install (probably BT or D0 but could also be LPC).

If you installed a Blue Duox2 and when you boot up with the chip on the Boot Logo "X" is blue or you get an "EVOX" logo on the top right then your chip is fine and you jsut need new dashboard installed (use something like Slayer's).  If you don't get any different boot up then there is something wrong in the install (probably BT or D0 but could also be LPC).

The first thing to know is this: Is your chip flashing red when you turn on the xbox? If it's red... the chip is working. If it's not flashing... then it's time to check the d0 wire.

Deal with the dashboard, and BIOS flashing stuff AFTER you confirm the status of your chip.
