You don't make sense, you are talking about Cromwell and banks, yet a duox2 lite only has one bank and it comes preflashed.

Make sure you use the original MS controller. Some S types do not even work with Cromwell .
If you have the MS dvd dongle you can use this.
If you already have then its not reading your media still. How did you burn the disc with Eurasia on it.
Try using IMGBURN to burn it.

I had this same problem last night. On a Halo 1.4 ver. It did the exact same as your describing. I burned on Ritek G05, and it just hangs at the "insert cd and press a" screen.

I just switched over to Flashbios and used that. Only problem with that is I've heard flashbios doesn't work so well on a 1.6.

Good luck, and if you get the cromwell working, lemme know what you did different to get it to work.

The biggest mistake made when burning the Eurasia disc is burning the ISO as data, its very easy to do this using Nero if you use the smart start thing.
If you want to use nero the best way is to open Nero burning Rom. Click on Recorder then select Burn Image.

I used Alcohol 120% for both burns, using the same media. The flash bios worked, and the cromwell (eurasia) didn't.

Oh well, at least I got mine to work....

Well you can not have used the same method of burning for both?
If you did you did as I described because a bios disc that you use with flash bios is a DATA disc not an ISO, whereas Eurasia is an ISO so the burning methods must be different.
Don't know if that makes sense, if not let meknow exactly how you made both discs and I wil try explain a little better

both iso's that I burned were pre-made iso's, supposedly ready for burn.

They were burned just as I always burn iso's w/ A120%. I drag it into A120%, right-click, and burn. So, they were burned the same. I can try a different method tonight, and see if it works any better.

So your bios disc was already an iso when you got it.
You didn't make the disc your self i.e with the normal bios.bin plus a data file. Thats a first on me I never saw a bios that was already an ISO this can't have been an XISO or it would not have worked. Very strange.
I am just trying to figure out why people seem to have trouble with Eurasia. It works faultless for me even re-flashing through a hacked bios.

yes. I received a link to them from a very reputable person. Both files were already in iso format, ready to burn.

Out of well over 100+ systems modded, I have had 1 that wouldn't load the Eurasia disc (Used the Eurasia disc in many other systems and it is burned on Tayo Yuden media).  That one system would hang about 1/2 way through loading the Eurasia disc.  It was a 1.6 and I ended up having to just flash the chip in another xbox.  It was the weirdest thing as it only happened the once.
My suggestion to see if it is the same issue I had would be to load the Eurasia disc on another modded xbox and see if it will load, if so then you can rule out the disc.

Grab dvd decrypter from my downloads page from www.hackdabox.com and install it. Then right click on the ISO file and choose open with DVD Decrpter. This method works 100% if the ISO's are good.

TDK DVD-R work 100% on all xbox models !
