Duox2 White Boot Problems
« on: March 19, 2006, 04:14:00 PM »

i had this problem with my very first install a while ago. turned out the solder came loose (wasnt a solid solder point on some of the spots)

go ahead and resolder the pinheader points again on the motherboard and the modchip as well

make SURE they are solid

also make sure the pins are plugged into the right holes

Have you tried booting from the other bank? Maybe you flashed a dodgy BIOS over the current bank by accident. If the other bank doesnt work either then yeah, check your soldering.

A couple of early boxes i chipped, meddling kids would hit flash not knowing what they were doing and then call me up "it's broken!" - i now disable the flash command in EvoX  tongue.gif
