If you could tell us where you got the chip, because it could be a clone and not work. Also, like always, check your soldering etc.

There are no known white DuoX2 clones so you are pretty safe.  As far as it goes with the bios, are you maybe confusing the bios and dashboard???
  Cause if you get to the flashbios screen then it obviosuly reads your chip, and if it gives no errors, then it flashed the chip ok.
  When the Xbox logo comes up, does it still say "MS" at the bottom, or does it says Xecuter rock my box, or something different.  Just wondering cause if you flash the bios, but some install a different dashboard, then it will still go to the MS dashboard and appear to not be modded.

Now you are not making sense because you will get the Xbox logo screen  regardless whether the chip is on or off, it will just look slightly different with the chip on.

Julius Pleaser: You don't see the Xbox logo if it's booting into Cromwell / Flashbios, they come up immediately.

Chihuahua: I take it when flashing you are seeing the first bar (yellow?) Erasing... Then the second bar (green?) Flashing.. And then it shuts down automatically?

My mistake, when I was reading "original bios", I was taking it to mean the MS bios/dashboard, and for that he would see the Xbox logo.

First off if you still have the flash bios screen after flashing then you didnt falsh it at all.

Ok the first back has cromwell flash bios 3. whaterver and the second has cromwell the other. If you have flashed the bios on both bancks then neither of the cromwell bios will load. This leads me to belive that even though you think the bios have been flashed they have not.

Fist step that the cromwell dose is errase bios. If this has been done sucsessfully then you will not have anybios at all untill the second step has been done.
