If your using Flashbios check out this guide.  It gives you the basics.  Just remember your bios should be sized to 512K and must be an X2 or Evox matched to your Xbox motherboard version.

ok, what is flashbios?

You have not been making the discs correctly if you have to ask what you just did.
Network flash.
Select flash via HTTP
Type in the network address to your browser.
Browse to the bios file
Away you go.

What message do you get when trying to load from disc?
I have few crappy scratched imation CDRW bios discs and they work in every machine I have tried.
The amount of drives you listed, one of the discs would have worked.
make sure you burn the discs as a data disc.
Rename the bios file to BIOS.BIN  (If using nero be careful that it does not add an extra .bin extension to the name, it sometimes can and then the file burned ends up as BIOS.BIN.bin)
name the dummy file aabbcc.dat.
Knowing the message it gives on the screen may help. I just feel one of those drives would have read a bios disc.

Do you have 2 discs?  Once for Eurasia and one for the bios?  With Cromwell you first insert the Eurasia disc, then after it will open up itself and tell you to insert the bios disc.  Just inserting the bios disc after booting cromwell will do diddly.

You didn't answer my question.  Are you using 2 discs..... Eurasia... and your Bios Disc?  If you are not then that is your problems.  The bank on the mod chip has cromwell (bank 0).  That is a linux loader of sorts that can load Eurasia, which is what actually loads your bios disc.
If you can switch to bank 1 and load Flashbios, then you only need the bios disc.

Can you boot off of both banks?  Cause Flashbios is easier as you don't need the Eurasia disc, but if you have a 1.6, flashbios doesn't always work and that is why the include Cromwell on the other bank.

If you can't connect your Xbox to a network and pull an IP dynamically, then you will have to flash using a disc.

So first decide which bank you are working with, then follow HackDaBox's instructions from the link I gave you last time.

And if you still can't do it, I will flash the chip if you want to mail it to me and cover return postage. (You would only need to mail the chip itself)

It does sound like you have been using the linux bank and trying to load a bios disc.
The bios disc instructions given are for flashbios on bank 1.
Bank 0 does indeed need a linux flash utility as well as a bios disc. Eurasia being the thing.
Boot it off bank 1 and use the flashbios disc you made.
