since the search is STILL DOWN i was wondering what solderless adaptors are compatible with a doux if the MB is v1.6. thanx. Ishmo.

Don't use solderless, soldering it much better and leads to less problems in the long run.  If you can't solder, then get someone who knows to help you.  I really is not that bad.

There is no real solderless adaptor for Duox2..Youw would at least have to make a couple of soldering in order to get it one working..Most Solderless adaptors have D0 tied to Pin 4 since the chips that support them have D0 also connected to Pin 4, the Duox2 does not...So you would need to connect a small wire from D0 on the Duox2 to pin 4 on the chip, and if you want the chip always on then BT to Pin 9, if you want the On/Off feature then connect BT wire to where it belongs

I forgot to add that grounding D0 is also required for always On.

Julius is correct, if you want the best install go with the LPC wire rebuild.  Take your time, use a little flux, pre-tin your xbox's motherboard pads with a small tipped iron, pre-tin the 30g Kynar wire, and your install will come out perfect.
