Duox 2 On A 1.6 With A Sp Adapter

I bought a doux 2 cromwell addition chip along with a SP Adapter for a 1.6 xbox. I have the adapter in place and everythin, but with my package i receved a lil red wire that plugs into a lil spike that sticks outa the SP adapter. Where do i put the other end? somewhere on the power supply? ground?

I know i need to put it somewhere because without it my xbox frags. And im sure the adapter is installed correctly because my Xenium chip boots up fine in it.

All is installed fine, just need to know where the 5v wire goes, and if thats why my duox is flashing red witout it

Make sure you have 5 volts going to pin 6 on the Duo. The Red LED on the chip is supposed to flash.
