Duox2 Problem
« on: February 28, 2006, 09:40:00 AM »

Having installed the chip and put the machine back together using the eject button the console will power up, then turn off, then power up, then turn off, after a few times it stays powered on and the eject lights flash but the tray does not eject.

When using power on the sme happens.

Does anyone have an idea what connection may be causing this? Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

BTW:
Its a Crystal 1.6b

As has been said a million times before, check your soldering.  Your problem is 99.9% caused by your soldering.  You either have a dry joint, solder splash, or damaged something on the board.  Look very closely until you find it, if you can't find anything (cause there is something), then desolder everything and start all over.  If after desoldering everything (before trying again) your Xbox doesn't work, then you damaged something in your attempt.
