Duox2 Lite Reflash Using Xecuter2.6 Hotswap
« on: February 12, 2006, 02:58:00 AM »

If you are swapping from an X2.6. make sure you have a connection to pin 6 on the DuoX 2. The X2.6 does not use pin 6.
What flash app are you using to flash this.
If you are booting from flashbios on the X2.6 it will not flash any other chip.
Boot the hacked bios and use another flash app

If you have a box with an X2.6 installed on a pinheader you will see that pin 6 is not fitted.
The duoX 2 needs this pin on the LPC so check that you have a connection from pin 6 of the LPC.
To enable the Duo you connect from BT to Pin 9 which is point G on the Duo diagrams not H (That may have been what you mean)
Make sure in your flashing app that you have the correct Flash ID added to the ini or raincoat.cfg

Ah right. It's quite possible that it's not connected, because his Xbox is a 1.6 using the Xecuter rebuild PCB. I've fitted a DuoX2 to an Xbox before using an Xecuter rebuild PCB and I know that one of the LPC pins (obviously pin 6) is blocked by the rebuild board on the bottom of the motherboard, so I now remember I had to run the wire manually.

Thanks very much for your help, I'll be testing this out tonight when I get back from work.
