Duox2 Problem

Just soldered in a Duox2 blue Chip. The led goes on, loads blue X with xecutor2 at the bottom but then goes to ms dash. What could be the problem?

ur xbox is working fine.. now you need to install an alternate dashboard. i.e. evox, unleashx...

Hey i thougt so but when i put in my slayers 2.6 disk it wont read. Im using a samsung drive and this dvd has worked on my other modded box. That is why i am confused

i'm assuming that your samsung is the newer version (sdg-605f rev.a) and not the older version (sdg-605_ rev.cool.gif
the newer version is much pickier than the older version.  IMHO the newer philips dvd drive is even better than the newer version samsung.

if you indeed have the newer samsung, it could be that the media that you're using is not compatible with the drive.  try using a different dvd disc

Burn it on a DVD-R at the slowest possible speed and it will work.
