hey i'm having trouble flashing a white Duox2 with cromwell.

the xbox is a 1.6 and when i get to the cromwell part to run eurasia disk, it says there is an error 4 on the main page,

failed$ide error 04
returning to 1
something about FATX

error 4

and than when i try and run eurasia (off of a dvd-rw) created correctly, it just doesnt do anything...

i cant use flashbios either because it doesnt come up on my 1.6

I have flashed numerous Duox2 White using cromwell and the eurasia disk and I have never come across this problem. I never use DVDRW media to write the Eurasia Generic Pro Flash Disc 1.2 and the flash bios disc I use CDRW. Try changing your media to CDRW it may help.

I have done a ton of Xboxes and I have yet to find one that doesn't have HUGE problems reading DVDRW's or can't read them all together. So most likely the fact that you burnt Eurasia to DVDRW is what is causing your problem. So when you say you burnt it correctly, I would have to disagree with you. Just put it on a CDRW if you don't want to waste a disk.

no , you dont see, i have an error before i even put the disk in...
like when i noot to cromwell, where it says all fo your xbox stant's there is a line that says theres like an error 2 and something about the FATX

nevermind, i accidently put the wrong harddrive, bt it still wont run the eurasia disk....

so when i go to the cromwell screen i select the disk button, aand put the eurasia disk in... than what is supposed to come up, anything ?

ive now tried DVD-RW CD-RW and DVD-R and none of them have worked... i'm using the eurasia link off of hackdabox and burning it with nero at 4x (minimum possible) and i'm burning it at disk-at-once with no multisession, and finalizingthe cd

You need to follow the on screen instructions. After putting the Eurasia disc in it will take around 30 secs to sort things informing you of what to do next , it will then ask you to put in the bios flash cd and will say not to close the dvd tray as it will do it automatically ( 30 secs). Just read the prompts on screen and it should be very easy.

The Eurasia flash disc is an image. You are burning it wrong becuase you have quoted setiings you would have for burning a data disc. In other words you are burning the image as data.
In nero burning rom just select
Recorder then click burn image.

To create your Eurasia Flash Disc:
Download DVD Decrypter from ( www.HackDaBox.com in the downloads section ) and unrar it using WinRar ( www.rarlabs.com ) and now install it. Download Eurasia from ( www.HackDaBox.com in the downloads section ) and unrar it using WinRar ( www.rarlabs.com ). Right click on the Eurasia.iso and choose Open With - DVD Decrypter. Insert a DVD-R or CDRW. DVD-R works best on all models but CDRW works on most. Don't use cdr as they don't work on xbox. Choose 1X Write speed and click burn.
