Just means you didn't solder properly. I recommend you don't use the rebuild board as it makes trouble shooting very difficult. instead us the rebuild board to see where you need to connect wires to, then do it with wires. that way you can easily see (us a magnifying glass) if you are bridging any connection by mistake (bad placement, too much solder, etc).
Just make sure you soldered to all the right spots, and don't have anything crossing. My rule of thumb is that if you look at a solder with a magnifying glass and you are not 100% certain it is not touching something else, then desolder and fix it until you are 100% certain all your points are nice and clean.

I am modding 2 boxes tonight. If either of them is a 1.6 and I can remember to grab a camera, I will take some photos so you can see how it should look.

Sorry, but the 2 boxes I did tonight were a 1.0 and a 1.1 so I won't be posting any pics.

Its workin now both of them are. one was simply missing a wire and the other had ground issues.
