Hello there ...

Yes the duox2 does support a 300 gig hard drive. Because your hdd is soo big you really wanna use a bios that will allocate up to 137 gig on F: and the rest on G: this bios will be a .67

.06 means F: drive only
.67 means both F: and G: drives !

What xbox version do you have ?

DuoX2 Blue
If you have a V1.0 - V1.5 then a blue duox2 on bank 0 will work perfectly for you and wont need flashing.
If you have a V1.6 then you should boot from bank 1 but flash it after with Evox M8 Plus V16.67 (512)

DuoX2 White
If you have a V1.0 - V1.5 then boot from bank 1 and flash it with X2 4981.67 (512)
If you have a V1.6 then boot from bank 1 and flash it with Evox M8 Plus V16.67 (512)

The blue and white chips are exactly the same feature wise. The white chip have legal bioses on them making them legal to sell in all countries but you will have to flash a hacked bios on the chip yourself. The blue chips are shipped with working hacked bioses allready flashed making them easier to install.

Hey hackdabox, I heard there's a new bios out which is supposily better.
It's the x2 bios 5035

Will this work on the duox2? you know any information on this bios?

Well the X2 5035 bios is the latest but the latest is not allways the best. The safest bios to use is the ones i have mentioned above. And they will do everything you really need them to do.

Ofcourse if ya wanna live dangerously then you can try the new X2 5035 bios but dont do it unless you are ok with reflashing as it has a bad habit of stopping half way through on duox2's.

I don't know about it being better but i did wanna try it out myself , it lets you customize lots of stuff to do with the boot up so it makes your duox2 like a X3 mini !

Flash it over the bank you are not using ! flash it using Flashbios or Eurasia but don't use Evox !
