Hi, have just bought a 2nd hand xbox, it has original HDD and a duox2 lite modchip and slayers dash
the modchip seems to work fine but when i try to go to avalaunch or boxplorer it just goes to black screen.
sometimes it will work but most times go to black screen
I installed a new 80 gig HDD and reinstalled slayers, still the same checked chip and wiring all looks good.
could the chip need reflashing and is it possible with the duox2 lite to reflash from slayer dvd or do I need a programmer

The chip is fine..You are having file problems, I'ave had the same problem before (also with media center)..Try clearing all your caches and reinstalling Avalaunch and Boxplorer...
