Duo X3 chips are clones, which is probably why you can't find good documentation on them.

The DuoX 3 is not actually a copy of another chip its just a cheapo made chip from an unknown manufacturer. Its more a copy of a name in the fact that by labelling it a DuoX 3 they are trying to imply that this is the next chip on from the DuoX 2 by Team omega. this is not the case and as such you may struggle to find instructions for this.

I have the DuoX3 modchip and it is fine and has given me no problems (when it was installed). You can find the official installation instructions by heading over to this site. However, bear in mind that the instructions for the v1.3-1.5 are really the instructions for the v1.0-1.2 and vice versa. The instructions for the v1.6 however is perfect.
