I just installed my new Duox2 on a 1.0. Desoldered the LPC holes, soldered in my pinheader, and used the top d0 simply because I like it better for ease of access.

This xbox was repaired by the previous owner (d0 on bottom, actually, repair done by a pro) and I personally saw it work as a softmodded xbox. The eeprom was flashed, and after that the box would only frag. That's when I put the chip on. I've reflashed the eeprom with configmagic, nada. Any ideas?

Sounds like eyour tsop is on vacation so just install a switch and MS bios on the other bank of your chip.

If I flash the MS bios to the other half of the chip, I'll still get banned if I use that for live, right?

You can use the MS bios on live but you need to take all the normal precautions.
