Hello all just installed a duox2 lite it is supposed to have a 512k bios I am just wondering what bios can I not use and I know a 1meg bios will not fit right now i am using the x2 bios and the version of the xbox is a 1.0

I don't even know of any 1meg bioses.. so you should be able to use pretty much any bios that will work on your v1.0 xbox.. this includes evoxm8, x2, indbios, etc. X3 will not work though, it's only for xecuter3 chips.

Use X2 4981.06 512k

But i think most will work - i use 4981.06 on 1.0-1.5 and EvoxM8Plus on 1.6

5035 won't work, they are for Xecuter only i think.

No they can be used on other chips.
Its only the X3 bios that can't

Yes the duox2 lite can be installed in any xbox version ! and the Evox M8 Plus V1.6 bios will boot in any version thats why they had to flash it with that version. You must reflash the chip with a suitable bios once you get it installed if you dont have a V1.6 or long term use will cause damage to your motherboard !
