Use a pin header !

lol becuase if you have a problem ( like you do now ) it's hard to remove the chip. Re-heat the lpc points and add a touch more solder. Double check all the wires are making good contact. Look for a stray ball of solder that may have been jolte when the kids moved the box !

Does this boot ok with the mod disabled? It sounds like a video region problem rather than the chip.

works perfect with chip turned off... thought it may have bin that, but the tv is pal, ntsc compat and have tried it on 2 teles
