Lpc Rebuild For The Duox2
« on: September 25, 2005, 12:03:00 PM »

I bought a Duox2 on Robotpig, and it came with an LPC rebuild.  Is this a safe way to rebuild your LPC?  Is there a good tutorial for installing it?  Thanks.

I would personally use wires unless the rebuild board is the type with half moon connectors.

That's the biggest pic I could get of the item I bought.  Will that be OK?

Unless you are very confident with a soldering iron and able to remove it again if there is a problem that is not a good rebuild board as it has full holes and is difficult to see if the connections are good underneath.
I would not use that one

The xecuter rebuild board does not rebuild the 5v line though (pin 5??) you have to add a jumper wire on the top from the voltage reg directly to the chip if you use that board.
