Duox 2 Boot Problem

You should be able to flash those puppys quite a few times. Thers nothing wrong with your box. & for flashing i always use dvd, make shure you got a big dummy file 1 gig or more caled ABC.dat on it & burn with nero or dvd decrypter.......peace

Box version and type of Duo is important here. (White or Blue). The next step depends on both of these factors. the Duo has 2 banks so the flash is recoverable but the answers to the above are needed to give the correct info

I pulled the Xbox apart to find what version it is and its a 1.6, i have tried flicking the switch to the other bank but the same problem occurs.
 My brother says that there were 2 things in the flash menu that he could have clicked on and he did it to the second one. Dont know if that helps.

Any help would be very much appreciated especially if i dont have to install another modchip.

Your box is a 1.6 so only bank 1 works from the factory with this version box.
This is the bank with the bad flash so you will have to either hotswap the chip to flash or fit it in a pre 1.6 xbxo, boot from bank 0 and flash bank 1 to a 1.6 bios so it works in your again
I can reflash the chip for you in the UK or otherguy and quite a few members can flash it if you are elsewhere.
