I have a problem with my DuoX2 Lite install on my xbox (version 1,3 i think). I tried to install a DuoX2 Lite on my xbox, every solder point were good, except D0. I made to pull up the trace on the D0 point on the top of the board so it didnt have a connection anymore on one side. I then tried to start the xbox when the point was broken, but the xbox didnt start with the chip deactivated. I made to repair the D0 point by making a link from the trace to the chip and from the chip to the D0 point on the backside of the motherboard (dont ask me why i didnt solder it there in the first place). I then tried to start up the xbox in the mode with chip deactivated and it worked as normal

I then tried to start the xbox with the chip activated (yes, i have soldered the BT to BT behind the eject button) but it only restarted three times and went FRAG. I went over the LPC points again and soldered them one more time.

Next time i tried it the xbox didnt restart or FRAG, but i didnt get any signal to video or audio. The eject button worked as normal, and i could hear the HD starting up as normal. I tried this method serveral times until it suddenly started up with the EVOX loading screen. Suddenly the screen froze during loading, but I could still hear the audio and the HD loading up as normal. I tried to restart it again but this time the screen turned black, I only heard the HD starting up.

Everytime it tries to start up the screen freezes during loading, but at different times in the loading sequence. SOMETIMES if I press eject exactly when the screen freezes I am able to start it up so I get the blue XBOX loading screen and it gets to the EVOX dashboard (I made to install slayers 2.6 when i made to start it up one time). But in most cases I dont get to start it up, or I dont get a evox loading screen at all, i only get black screen. But if i press the eject button at the right time during loading, it MAY start up, but in most cases it wont.

Can someone tell me what is wrong with my xbox? Im so confused, i soldered the LPC points many times now, but still no results. The Xbox works in original mode with chip deactivated as normal. I measured between ground and pin 6 & 9 and i got the right voltages (3,28V and 5,10V). I dont know what more to do with my xbox..please help me.

BT is working as is D0. the problem is still with the LPC points. Did you fit this on a pinheader or quicksolder it?
Do you have a picture of the underside install you could stick up here?

i have done a few mod my self and the is the first time that i have seen this probem my self as it just happened to me, I have just put the xbox back together and started it up to test it and it went for about a second then hung, so I turned it off turned it on all i got was a black screen, off/on it hung a bit further in to loading. I then tried to load with the eject button (mod chip off) it booted to the ms screen but i did notice one thing all the other xbox's i have modded have the origanal xbox dash on them this one had the updated dash as it was a v1.0 xbox with live support. I did pull the xbox apart to check the soldering and everything was as good as the last.

I have put evox on the hdd and it will load and hang but if you press the eject button it will load to the dash and works just fine from there if you reset it I just get a black screen.

Bacon_Boy can i ask where you bought your chip from? as i bought mine from robotpig.com at the start of september (the last dew i bought from there worked great) i do have another mod chip left i might put that in and see what happens.
