Hi on one of my other duox2's i messed up 2 pads trying to make a toggle switch is there any alt point or anything i can do ??

heres the pic i colored it in red which are ruined (solder doesn't stick to them anymore)

Here ya go bud... Now be carefull use a HOT and CLEAN iron of suitable power ( atleast 20 watts ) if your have damaged the other points maybe use some liquid flux to help your iron get the solder to stick to the pads as one of them is very small

do you mean the red to the red with a wire and the green with the green ? if so how am i going to connect to the pad because the gold pad thing came off so nothing sticks to it now

Told you to be careful with this.
Our friend hackdabox means solder your switch wires to the other points he marked in the corresponding colours. So the wire that was soldered to the green pad you broke would now solder to the green pad on the opposite side. sam with the wire that went to the red. It now goes to the solder point at the side.

Yeah i was not really clear but i thought it was simple enough to work out as your old pads were gone but anyway how is the other switch you did that smoked ? is that one working fine now ?

And now you are fixing this one and that will make 2 good switch installs yeah ?

..o i should of said tihs before i am not using the toggle switch for this one i am soldering back on the normal duox2 switch

Hi can someone tell me the alt points on the duox2 for these points (i ruined the pads) i am using this duox2 to use my toggle switch

the point with the big red blob means the trace next to it on the left going to the tiny point is missing

plz help as i really need this working because right now i have no extra money to pay for anything for the xbox

You already have a thread on this and by the look of it I am afraid you have made it worse. You have now damaged the alt points for the first set you damaged.
You ought to think about a new chip or getting the soldering done by someone competent to solder.
Merging this with your other thread

i can do it its just i do stupid mistakes and well its bad luck for me is my  lpc ok tho
so all i need to do is buy a chip (my chip light goes on)

I'd get another chip if I were you (or just softmod). Although you said you can fix it... your description of the problem proves otherwise.

i can't softmod my xbox doesn't boot without the chip (always been like this) i need a chip to even play my xbox if anyone knows the alt points plz tell me thanks.
