You could flash a retail bios on bank 0 and a hacked bios on bank 1 and then wire the switch to the outside of the xbox so that you can switch banks with the switch

If you want to reflash your TSOP you'll need a 29 wire mod to boot from another EEPROM in parallel with the TSOP, then cut a couple of wires and reflash.

There are guides on doing it with 29 wire mods like the stingray.

It's not an easy thing to do tho.

the only way to flash a tsop (modchip wise) is with a 29 wire mod. thats why you cant use an lpc chip to do tsop repairs.


you CAN use a modchip to get ftp acsess to get softmod files onto the drive in order to flash the tsop once it is removed and you boot from the softmod, but beyond that, if you boot from the lpc, you cant flash the tsop.

Your tsop is fraging ! you have killed both banks and only a 29 wire mod can fix it now. You have been told many times now so accept the info or the thread will be closed. When you boot from the tsop you can only access the tsop! You can't boot from the tsop so you can't fix it ! You had 2 chances and blew them both !

Ok, this thread is pretty long and it basically saids the same thing over and over again.  So to answer your last question.  Where should the wire go for it to work?  Just follow the installation instructions as instructed for installing a DUO X2 chip.  Since you know that your TSOP is unflashable/unrecoverable then ground d0 so that it always boots from the DUO X2 chip.  Then just setup the DUO X2 just like you had it setup before for your TSOP flash with the switch.

You CAN flash your tsop with an lpc mod chip, but ONLY if it is a cheapmod based chip, like homebrew chips or a matrix and you have a 1.0/1.1.  You CANNOT flash the tsop with a duox2.  If either of your banks are working you can still use it and reflash, but if they both frag, you need either a cheapmod based chip or a 29 wire mod.

Ok no 3 wire trick no 29 wire as theyare not LPC based.
Tell us how to flash the TSOP by booting say a cheapmod SST49LF020 wired straight to the LPC on a V.10

The inference is that you can boot from an LPC modchip to reflash a hosed TSOP and I still say it cannot be done.
even the methods linked would need a 1 meg flash rom and as said they don't work with a stuffed TSOP
