Rip that rebuild off and solder the lpc yourself using wires - the best way
this is also true.
I would first like to start off by thanking both Chancer and Hackdabox (and others as well, but these 2 helped the most). What (i believe) was happening was the rebuild board simply was not working properly. I placed the pogo pins, then placed the lpc rebuild board, and then soldered those 2 together, i believe that some of those contacts of the LPC rebuild board were not touching the XBOX mobo LPC points even though I really put some solder on there.
So i ripped off the LPC rebulid board just like the creators of Webster ripped off Diff'rent Strokes.
i manually rebuilt the LPC, put D0 to the modchip, power ON and BAM, working with evox shield and cool xbox logo

im so relieved, i thought i was going nuts or losing my soldering skills. Manually rebuilding the LPC is the best way to go, by far!
Thanks a lot to everyone once again, these forums are a great source for help/guidance.
