There are now many versions of the Duo X2 modchips.

Duo X2 Blue origianl
Duo X2 Blue clone
Duo X2 White orginal
Duo X2 White clone
Duo X2 Lite original

The Blue versions come shipped with a X2 bios on bank 0 and Evox M8 Plus V16 on Bank 1. xbox v1.0-v1.5 users need bank0. xbox v1.6-v1.6b users need bank1.

The White versions come shipped with Cromwell bios on bank 0 and Flashbios on Bank 1. Try booting bank 1 and flash a 512k BIOS using either network flash or Loading from disc. If bank 1 won't boot then use bank 0 with Eurasia and a 512k BIOS.BIN

The Lite version is shipped with Evox M8 Plus V1.6. If you do not have a V1.6 xbox then you should reflash your chip with a suitable bios like X2 4981.06 as soon as possible to prevent damage to your console.

PS Do not use a 256k bios file. Eurasia does not resize the bios for you. Flashbios does not resize the bios for you. Only raincoat .7 resizes but this tool is not often use by noobs !!! The Duo X2 range of chips requie a 512k bios file.  The only exception to this rule is the Duo X3 which is a POS anyway !
