So the xbox is FRAGing ( eject led is - Flashing Red And Green ) so something is wrong sad.gif

Solder the wire from the bottom side d0 to the thick metal ring around the screw hole near the lpc area. Just heat up part of this ring and push some solder into it and then push the stripped and tinned end of the d0 wire into it. Now your d0 is allways grounded. Now remove the bt wire. Add a link wire on the chip from BT to pin 9 (G in the duomodchip diagrams) this forces to chip to boot enabled. Try turning on the xbox with the modchip unplugged and removed. It should FRAG ! if if doesnt FRAG then check your soldering on the bottom side d0 and the screw hole circle.

Now that it frags , push the duox2 onto the pinheader ( make sure you have it facing the right way around ) the bank switch should be close to the left side of the xbox if you are looking at it from the front.

Flick the switch to bank1 as bank0 is no good for your model and won't work giving you extra grief !

Now try booting the chip. If it works jump for joy and then try removing d0 from the screw hole and putting it back on the d0 pad on the chip and reinstall the bt wire and retest with powering on with eject for normal bios and power for hacked bios. I suggest booting from bank1 and then flicking the switch and flashing bank0. so you will have a working spare bank.

If it still doesn't work then please check out my Duo X2 Troubleshooter !

Resolder all connections just incase, remember to resolder the female headerpin thats soldered to the modchip !

Im going to remove everything, including the rebuilt lpc wires, and redo it all over.  Does the duo blue chip come flashed?,  Should  it work once installed, and should I leave it on the stting its on (I think bank 0), It came with a black protector that slips into place.  Thanks,

Thanks Hackdabox, I went through your instuctions and the unit works great now, Thanks again, I really appreciate it, It was beginning to frustrate me but I figure it out.

The Duo x uses more pins on the lpc then the aladdin.  I saw that the chip had tracks on points that the aladdin did not.  So I installed the extra pin, then I shorted out the D0 like you said, switched the bank to 1, and looped the BT, and it loaded up the first attempt, Thanks again, I owe you one!!
