I have had this problem with this bios before. Everyone else will tell you there is no problem but I tried more than one chip. the method i used to flash it was Eurasia and it worked fine. You could also try the HackDaBox Re-Flash disc as well.

you didn't happen to reflash over the bank you were booting off of did you?

Nope. Both banks were running a working X2.4981. And if it was a bad flash, the LED would come on the LED and it would frag. The mod isn't turning on at all.
I'll try re-flowing all the soldering later, and see what that does.

NEVER flash a Duo X2 Clone with the X2 50XX bios as it doesn't work !

PS The chip functions very well in all other ways and flashes perfect everytime with any flashing tools using Evox M8 PLus or X2 4981 bioses.
