The duo is supplied with both. they are plugged together at the moment pull them apart.
In other words its not one piece but 2 the female is plugged into the male.
I would condider getting someone to install this for you as you seem to be really struggling at the moment

well, i guess i couldent wait any longer and i did it myself, and guess what it fucked up, it stil frags and there are no changes. i took these two pics of my doing so if u can take a look at them and tell me whats wrong that would be great!

You could have saved yourself some worry by looking at point number 7 in the tutorial you were supposed to follow which shows you the chip sat in the correct way.
I suppose we will speak again when you try to install the dash.

i would suggest you shorten up the ends of those wires, otherwise you'll be seeing some troubles in the future
