ok i have a 1.6 and read all the stuff i could find but still have no ideas. if i press eject the xbox boot M$ Just fine but if i use the power button to boot Cromwell the xbox reboots 3 times then flashes red and green with the mod flashing red.I know the "BT" wire is fine and have no reason to beleve "D0"is bad. BUt i will try in the am in the mean time if any one has any ideas let me know. P.S. i tryd both banks

has to do with your solder. recheck.

did you rebuild lpc ?

D0 and BT are indeed working. the problem is LPC related. Either bad connections on the LPC pins or on the rebuild

Is the bank switch fully accross it looks to be sat halfway, but it may be an optical illusion

I just noticed this solder blob on the DuoX2's TSOP and  idont know if it shoud be there. Heres a pic.

can any one see a problome with any of my soldering? if not how likly is it that i just have a dead chip?

could be possible ive had dead duox's. But purchase them from appleguru his chips are legit.

Try "jumping" the switch by connecting a wire on one sice of the swith so it forces it to boot to a specific bank (i've had bad switches on 2-3 i've done)
