sad.gif ***********************Update status********************* sad.gif
I placed the pin head on board soldered it on, then the pin head on the duox2 chip. Everything seemed well. Then I connected the D0 from the v1.0 to ground. Then the BT on chip to stay on at all times.  beerchug.gif right!!! So I checked and put everything back inside the xbox.
Booted.... Then got the 3boot with red/green.
So I pulled the D0 from ground and the xbox booted normal as the chip flashed its red led as working status.
My question is what do I try next. Is it the lpc solder job thats bad? Should I find alt 1.0-1.1 D0 point to solder to. Any feedback would be really awesome. Thank you in advance. Take care

when you ground d0 , you force the xbox to boot from the lpc , if you get a frag it means your d0 to ground wire is fine and 9/10 it is a problem with the lpc soldering(the fact that the red light flashes only means your ground and 3v connections are correct , what i would do is use a fibreglass pen on the lpc , then resolder all the connections

hey, i figured this out the hard way, but if you tighten all the screws too tight, then the m odchip won't boot sometimes, this isn't a fact or anything, but i thought it would help.

O-YA
Glad have the scene to pull information from. Awesome resource of information and people (minds).

The LPC was dirty (solder splashes) which under a mag... glass showed the two traces bridged. Once it was removed it I had a working xbox.

However, I did flash a duox2 white as your tutorial said and let a friend mod his xbox with it, however, when he returned it the chip would not work.
I believe it to be a bios issue. I HOPE!
I will setup a 1.0 with D0 on ground tonight and bridge the bt and g on chip to see if would work.
Take care and GOD BLESS

got a duox2 chip that will function right! I got the chip ready for flash hardswap. Yet it tells me that the chip is invalid. What may be the problem? Anyone?

And if the chip is messed up. Where can I get 2 duox2's for 10.00 a piece?

Take care

I have the bt and 9 pin conneted and the D0 to ground. I booted the cromwell and switched the chips and got an error invaild statement. I switched the bank and got it again with eurasias pro disk.
Any ideas or can someone be so kind as to reflashing the chip? Take care and GOD BLESS

Sorry, your right on the buying.
Could someone diagnose this.

I have the bt and 9 pin conneted and the D0 to ground. I booted the cromwell and switched the chips and got an error invaild statement. I switched the bank and got it again with eurasias pro disk.
Error was unknown chip or ...... at dev 0*ff and man0*ff
So I entered in the string into the raincoat cfg file and tryed again and got another error
error at 0*0 wrote at 0*09 read at 0*ff

Any ideas or can someone be so kind as to reflashing the chip? Take care and GOD BLESS
