Flick the bank switch and try to boot with power !

resolder the female pinheader to the chip , just heat up each point and add a touch of solder !

Does the RED Led flash ?

Do you have it on the headerpin the right way ? the bank switch should be close to the left side of the xbox !

follow my DuoX2 Troubleshooter !

Here's a picture of a Duo I had setup for always on.  Nothing gets soldered to D0 on the Duo.

So if BT is connected to that pin (i think that's pin 9), then you don't need to connect the D0 or anything else to anything? That's all that's needed, and it will just always be enabled?

no from what i understand you then have to connect d0 on the mobo to ground, such as a screw hole.

Master Bman is correct. You still have to ground mobo D0. Easiest way is to solder a wire from the backside d0 point and bring it up through a spare lpc hole #15 or #16 then solder it to the round metal circle that goes around the screw hole near the lpc area.

In this setup the eject button will also boot the hacked BIOS and xbox live is not an option. This is good for testing and troubleshooting but once everything is working you should remove the link from the chip and move the wire from the screw hole to the chips D0 point. Then solder a wire from the chips BT point to the alternate BT point.

does anyone live around upstate ny some kind of guru? i am so sure i ahve this set up correctly and it just doesnt work.  i ahve tried 2 chips with 2 boxes and they don't work, it makes no sense.  i know the chip is always on but when i boots it doesnt do what its supposed to do.  instead of doing anything at all it starts once for about a second, shuts off.  does it again two more tiems then stays on and frags.  the whole time the screen on the tv is balck with no audio.  sucks.
