Yup, you can... Make sure you're using a compatible bios for you're xbox version though.

Yeah you can use FlashX or Evox or Eurasia. My HackDaBox Reflash Cd can also be used. Make sure you choose the right bios and size. Do not try to re-flash a heap of times testing all different BIOS'S for that you should allways use the DuoX2 and not the lite as the Duox2 has a backup bank.

XBOX V1.0 - V1.5 use X2 4981.06 512k

XBOX V1.6a - V1.6b use EVOX M8 PLUS V16 512k

PS please note in evox any size bios file can be used but if you use other tools you will need to make the bios 512k in size first. The easiest method is to use my HackDaBox Cd and choose your XBOX version.

Yes using a program called EVTOOL for Evox bios or XBTOOL for X2 bios.

Why not use the latest X2 bios? Currently, the x2.5035?
From what I know, the latest x2 bios's don't work only on the Duox2 Clone chips.

You would have to unpack Hacks reflash Image and mod it iwth the bios you want if you wanted to do it that way. Stick the bios in evox and flash from that (I have had problems with X2 5032 but not tried the latest fix yet).
Eurasia flashed it perfectly everytime..... be aware there were glitches in the 5032 that may cause you to have to find workarounds for certain things. these may not exist in the latest version but I will flash to try it at some point.

Well you all should know by now that i think it's best to stick with the rock solid stable bioses for customers consoles but since some of you wanna play with the latest X2 release i have made a new DuoX2ReflashCd so you can tinker till your hearts content !

OK you should all know that the new X2 bios requires a congif file so i have altered my cd so that when you choose to flash the new X2 bios it copies the config file to your E: drive. You can later edit this using flashfxp or similar if you wish or grab the latest version of X2 Config Maker !
