The DUox2 has 2 banks: Cromwell and FLashBios banks (assuming you have the White Duox2 and not the BLue one). Either bank  you use on the White Duox2 you need to get a 512kb Bios NOT two 256kb bios that are the same.

The flashbios bank is easier to use becuase you just need the 512kn bios and rename it BIOS.BIN and add a 100mb dummy file and burn them into a disk..For the cromwell bank you need to use the eurasia flash disks (there are 2 disks).

For your 1.0 xbox the Xecuter2 4983.06 is fine or you can use the 4981.06 if you want to edit colors/boot options on the bios.

Also how is your network set up, are you using a router or crossover cable?

The read me file tells you exactly how to do it, all you need is burn the flash bios iso image to a disk and then another disk with the 512kb bios named bios.bin (add dummy file)

These are the codes for Duox2 chips.they should already be there

The flashbios bank is easier to flash though.

Have I missed something here or have you already got a hacked bios on Bank 1.
If you have just boot hackDaBox Spider reflash disc (yes it works on the Duo) using bank 1 and flick the bank switch with a cocktail stick or similar to bank 0 after selecting flash and it will flash bank 0

I also noticed this, kinda wierd.
I have my xbox on bank0, put the cd in. switch to bank1 and power down, turn the power back on and a backup game will boot. I tried doing this with my bios disk but I get the MS default dash error of "cannot recognize disk".

If when you boot with the chip On and it says "Xecuter2" on he bottom of the big green X then your chip was flashed fine, Unless you install another Dash (evox or avalaunch etc..) then it will just boot to the MS Dash, if the games you are trying to play don't work then they are either burned wrong or your dvd-rom drive does not like the media/brand you are using, hope that makes sense.

With that said if you try to do the whole DUmmy file/Bios.bin file on the bank that already has the Xecuter2 Bios on it then yes you will get the erro saying it can't recognize it because that format is only recognized by Flashbios for the 1st flash. If you need to reflaswh the chip that already has a hacked bios then you need to use Evox to reflash it.

I'm burnin EvoX now. I have the default.xbe and evox.ini in the main part of the cd with abackup folder containing the bins and txt files(default) Do I replace the 1mb bios.bin with my 256 M8plus.bin. The disk just wants to reformat my HDD, why?

I'm not too sure what you're talking about as far as X2 pro/X2 lite; I'm getting really tired as it's really late over here.

However, I can tell you one thing that you're doing wrong.

You're using CDRs.

Go grab some Virgin CDRWs, or get some DVDs (DVDs are better and cheaper)

Yes I thought i had read that you had Xecuter 2 under the X at boot. this does indeed mean you have a suitable hacked bios. the reflash disk by HackDaBox is like flashing from evox but he compiled it all nice and neat on a bootable disc. If you can't get the flash working through evox give it a go with the Re-Flash disk. It has M8+.16 on it which you could flash to bank 0 by using bank 1 as the boot bank and , as said, flick the bank switch.
