Duo-x2 V2 White Flashing With Flashbios 3.03

You are definetely booting bank 1? You should be able to connect a crossover cable, type in the IP address on the flashbios screen and flash using network flash .
The message you got is not referring to the flash protection on the chip its not reading the disc for some reason. You named the bios BIOS.BIN and just burned as data disc (ISO9660) yes?
You could boot from bank 0 and try flashing using eurasia

Sounds to me like flash bios 3.0.3 isnt recognizing the flashrom actually.

You might want to make sure your flashrom is listed in this source for flashbios 3.0.3 but obviously they would not send it out from the factory without checking all this first.

yes I'm booting from bank 0.

Well thats not definetely booting from bank 1 then. Bank 0 is not flash bios and you need Eurasia to flash that bank. If you want to use flash bios you must boot from bank 1.

What happened with Eurasia on bank 0?
All three of the Flashrom types Hyundai included are supported so either the chip is goosed(unlikely) or you are doing something wrong somewhere. can you describe how you made the discs etc?
If not someone from the board will be able to flash it for you.

wow this is strange ... i just can't figure out why the chips wont flash. Even burning my flash cd's doesn't work using flashbios or eurasia !!!

i am now seriously thinking Gizmo3107 has got hold of some crappy clones !

Gizmo3107 has now tried 3 different duox2 chips and none of them will flash for him. Gizmo3107 told me eurasia stops part way through flashing and halts !

DUOX2 BUYERS BEWARE !

POOR QUALITY CLONES ARE OUT THERE !

OK. I just PM'ed a detailed hotswap as he has a working xbox with an aladdin chip. So we will try and hotswap using the aladdin the 3 duox 2 's using my spiderchip reflash cd ( Evox may be able to flash those fake bastards ! )

OK Guys it's confirmed !

There are duox2 clones out there that can only be flashed successfully using evox. My spiderchip reflash cd will do fine but you will have to hotswap if you have a white clone or a clone with a non working bios.

I've just talked to a Guy from Gamestore24.de, where I boughht the chips.
He told me that his big-Dealer (don't know the english word for it) calls back all the white duox. There musst be something wrong, but they actually don't know why we just can flash it with Evox or the spiderchip reflash cd from HachDaBox
