You will need to solder your d0 from the motherboard to the round circle around the screw hole near the lpc area. Now solder a wire from BT to G on both duox2's.

http://members.lycos...dabox/bt2g.html

This setup forces the duox2 to boot and makes it wireless so it's easier to swap.

Download my spiderchip reflash cd ( it's in my sig ) and burn it using nero after you unrar it. Boot this cd on your xbox with the good duox2. replace the good chip with the bad flashed one and flash it.

You can also still use Bank 0 with Eurasia. Just to be sure you did not use a 256k file size with Flashbios when the flash failed did you.

OK. I don't mean to be rude but ...

Read my post above very slowly and carefully and you will see D0 on both chips does not need soldering at all. BT does not go to the usual spot behind the reset button.

D0 on the motherboard connects to a round circle near the screw hole on the motherboard and does not connect to the duox2 chips at all.

Both chips have a link wire on them from the bt pad to the G pin. No wires run from the chis to the motherboard at all !

Understand ?

D0 on the Xbox goes to ground point on the Xbox (Do not connect to the chip)
Both chips should temporary have a wire soldered between the BT pad on the chip and Pin 9 (Point G, 2 up from the D0) on the chip itself. No wire connection between the chip and the Xbox at all just the plug in pin header.
Plug in the good bios chip and boot the reflash disk with that select flash and the bios you want to flash from the menu but before pushing the controller button to flash, unplug the good chip and plug in the one with the messed up flash. Push the controller button to complete the flash

It would probably be easier to hotswap the bad chip with another chip that has a hacked bios instead on cromwell/flashbios. That way you can use evox to flash it and the size of the Bios won't matter (256kb or 510kb) because evox resizes before flashing.

Also why don't you use the other bank (cronwell)?

I believe he is hotswapping a chip with a hacked bios on it. I hope so anyway as the reflash disk will not run on Cromwell

Yep yep evoX bios. Im gonna try this stuff as soon as I get home, but Id like to add I did attempt to flash this chip with evox dash and a evoX 512 k bios, but it said filesize error.  I also tried using a that deluxe installer disk to see if flashing from the dvd drive would help, but no go.
