The blue one comes with a hacked bios on and the white comes with Legal cromwell on. Both can be re-flashed and both are the same to install in the box. I would wire the rebuild in rather than use the rebuild board.

o and i emailed chipdealer they said duox2 doesn't work with v1.6 or 1.6b xboxs this is what he said...

"Unfortunately, it's designed for V1.0 to V1.5. To use it on V1.6 or V1.6b
you will need additional parts not included or supported."

what do i need to make it work on a v1.6 or v1.6b xbox ?? please help sorry for the noob questions.

chipdealer are talking crap total crap. Of course they work on the 1.6 and 1.6b.
Bearing in mind what they said and obviously know nothing is it wise to buy from them.
Buy your chip from LepPpeR you can trust him and trust his advice completely and he is cheaper.

Yes I ship to Canada.

If you want, I will install the pin-headers on the chip, no charge.  Like the picture you have above.

LeP

note:  Chipdealer.com has no idea what they are talking about.  The chip works on all console versions.  1.0 to 1.6A/B.

If you have a 1.6 I recommend getting the LPC Rebuild Board, its 5.00 Bucks and saves you a lot of hassle.

The rebuild board goes on the bottom of the motherboard, installs pretty easy with just a tiny bit of solder.

Once you have that done and the pinheader installed into the LPC holes you solder the D0 to the chip and the BT.

Flash the correct bios and your done wink.gif

sounds hard but is pretty easy if you know what you are doing.  If you are not good at soldering I suggest you practice on old circuit boards as I did.

If you use the rebuild board then all you have is a wire from the Lframe point to D0 on the chip and the BT point. the link in my signature has a guide to the Alternate BT point and if you need guiding through flashing it just post back on here
