Alternative Ways To Flash A Duox 2

I was just wondering what options I have to flash a Duox 2 other than Evox?  Can anyone suggest some alternatives?

Never used anything else it seems so convenient to use Evox. One thing i can tell you is the X2 programmer won't flash it even though the Flash Roms on these and the earlier X2 chips were the same.

Thanks guys.  Just wanted to know, it it true Evox will resize a 256k bios to 512k when flashing a 512k bank?  Also, say your Duox 2 switch is on bank 1 and you want to flash bank 1, if you flash it in Evox will it actually flash bank 1 or will it flash bank 0 since bank 0 has the starting address in memory?

I ran across something similar to this when flashing an X2.6 with Flashbios.  I had to flash a 1MB bios to the chip with Flashbios in the first two banks and my X2 bios in the second two banks in order to have the X2 bios on the second posistion of the switch.  If I just flashed the 512k X2 bios it would alway just overwrite the first two banks of the chip even if I had the switch selecting the last two banks...  Just wondering if this is the case for the Duox 2 in EvoX?

Get FlashX from Xbins, that will do it.

Evox resizes so you can use 256kb...What ever bank is selected thats what bank its going to get flashed. So if bank 1 is selected when you flash then that bank will get flashed, the other stays untouched.

However if you boot the xbox in bank 1 and before flashing it you switch to bank 0 then when you flash it it will flash bank 0 not 1 (good way to fix a bad flash on one of the banks).
