Duox 2 Bios Issues
« on: March 11, 2005, 03:28:00 PM »

you can use a DOS command to do it. Lets say your file is called 256.bin and you are in the same directory as the file in a DOS window.

Type "copy /b 256.bin + 256.bin xxx.bin"  xxx = whatever you wish to call the 512K BIOS file.

Or you can use Evtool. Its pretty staight forward for enlarging the bios.

Don't have to convert because Evox or raincoat 0.7 will automatically resize for you during flashing. So just use whatever 256KB bios file you have. Evox will flash DuoX 2 with AMD or Fujitsu flashrom just fine.

Edited: Just ignore what I said above because that only applies to the Blue DuoX 2 or after a hacked bios has been flashed successfully. Yes, the Flashbios or Cromwell bios need a correctly sized bios file.
