you'll need to boot from an evox disk - you most likely didn't create the one you made correctly. There are quite a few tutorials online on how to do this.
If you cant get it running on your own - there's always slayers to turn to.

The most compatible media is any quality DVD+R media having the booktype bitset to DVD-ROM. Make sure the size is (or padded to) at least 1GB. Create a XISO and then burn it using DVD Decrypter or Nero burn image.

There are many installer CDs that you can download. You can customise them further if you want.
