If you used the top point, you can attach it to the alternat D0 on the back of the board. I hear it is a lot easier to solder to anyway.

Chancer has a website around hear about the DuoX 2 chips. I would consider him the authority. The link to his page is in his sig, so just search for his name.

I don't know exactly what it takes to fix the D0 point, I have never destroyed a point like that. Sorry I can't help more.

You are not taking enough care when installing.
the reason there is noting to do with repairing the chips on the site is because they don't break so you must be real Ham fisted to wreck points on the chip.

well i have the chip on a wire install so it has alot of room to move so its not like its fixed
