Ok, i've got a 1.0 xbox here and i just got this new 1.6 solderless adapter. How are you supposed to do this? I know that all the extra wires are unnessessary so what do you do? I heard that you pull the white part off and you have the standard solderless adapter. I tried that and it still doesn't work. There are too many pins if you pull off the white. I am lost here. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Ya, i've tried that. The xbox just frags. I was thinking that i might have put it on wrong, but it doesn't seem to matter how i put it on.

i've tried that. it just doesn't seem to work. I have modded many 1.0 xboxes, but this new adapter is just giving me headaches.

Can you give me the name of that site that sells the old ones please? That would be sweet.

There are a few to choose from here... but the one you want is at the bottom... blue(personal fav) or black
