When installing the X-Chip via the solder-less adapter some things to watch for

-Make sure that if you have a version that has holes in the LPC port that you MUST use the supplied rivets and make sure you install the rivets in the right holes -see guide for more info

-Make sure that no pogopins are stuck you can test by applying pressure on a flat surface before you insall adapter. All pogpins should compress and then release

-Make sure that the adapter is installed snug in the Xbox -see guide for more info

-Make sure that the gold wire in in the proper D0 hole. Also make sure that the wire is in the hole not just sitting on top of it and that it is at a angle making good contact with the D0 hole. -see guide for more info

-Make sure that the X-chip is proper alligned with the adapter and that very little rocking with the X-Chip happends. You can fix the rocking with the nickel trick.

-Make sure that you have flashed the X-chip with the X-chip bios 1.3 as showed in the manual.pdf file. Also make sure that have flashed the X-chip with the correct bin file for your Xbox version.
