well I happen to know evox works perfectly fine with the correct bios for the x-chip.  (I have evox_x-chipv1.3)
Have you verified that your xbox can read the disk? if not through your stock HDD back in, burn some music on the cd rw and see if the m$ dash can play the CD.  Then move on to slayers.

the serial number you need is on the buttom of the xbox.  If this has faded off you can run config magic and it will tell you.

P.S. I agree its a nice car but the black one isn't mine.  I just thought a good IROC would make a badass sig pic.  The silver one in the corner however, truely is my 1982 Z28 Camaro. biggrin.gif

QUOTE
xbox production year: 2004
made in Taiwan
xbox number 814623 on week 10 assembly line 4
based on given information your xbox has been determined as a version 1.4

that information was provided by the xbox identifier program.

And i put my Stock hardrive back in reads games perfectly.

did you test that the slayers disk would boot?

QUOTE
What program should i use and how should i go about writing it in that program?

I highly recommend nero.  You need to check finalyze disk and burn at the SLOWEST speed possible.

as for aim I don't have it however I am available on yahoo messenger most of the time.  The reason I reply quickly is I have the forum settings set to e-mail me when a reply is posted.

to be able to copy games you need three things:
(1.) A bios that runs unsigned code (not cromwell)
(2.) a alternate dashboard to launch applications
(3.) a application to copy the games (dvd2xbox is the most reliable)

to start off with the bios its best to have your computer do it.
I highly recommend the x-chip_evoxV1.3 bios for the x-chip.
you would flash this with a program called X-control

you can find this bios at the "ussual places"
if you don't know how to get files from this place go here
as for the other two steps, its best to follow the fine tutorials on XS

what you need to do is, drag the defalt.xbe file and evox.ini file to your computer.
Rename default.xbe to evoxdash.xbe
drag evoxdash.xbe and evox.ini to the C drive.
Restart xbox
you should now see the evolution X dashboard

if you created the boot disk correctly you should see the default.xbe and evox.ini files in the D drive of your xbox.
