What program are you trying to rip with, ann how are you trying to rip them?

Sounds more like software/media issue as you can get evox menu and play originals.

As for all sudden started work, It could mean media( sometimes a poor media can take a few attempts in driev for it to read, otehr tiems works immediatly ) used or you did not allow driev to spin up enough to read when you 1st tried.

Xcontrol is simple, conenct usb to drive make sure you load the USB drivers and then just select File - Load RAw and find your biso File on PC then do a X-Chip Wriet Changes wait 5 minutes and your done and ready to use bios written

With priceof media I would just find one that is better suited for your drive, I have a few thomson's and have not run into any media glitch yet, but then my brother has one and ist super sensitive.  Samsungs and Philips are great as you can use CDR for small games

But a word of caution, yoiu will get 128 GB( minus C, and caceh drives created ) on F drive and remaining on G drive to total your 160 GB, so yuo will get about 35 GB on G drive.  Your apps must support this drive and all apps on slayesr 2.6 do tongue.gif

rtheil: Did you enable F and G drive in Evox Bios on these drives prior to installing slayers.  Something sounds fishy, as all docs, manuals state that initial 137GB is used for current XBox Partitions and F drive, any GB's left  over is put on G drive .  I just did a 160 western digital tonight and 27 Gb on G.
